Supporting Local Groups
Corporate Accounts
As a community-based co-operative we believe in helping small local groups get the support they need to get their feet on the ground and move forward with their work. Our Corporate Accounts are designed to give local groups an account for money related to their business to kept in, allowing them to focus on delivering what they need to the local community.
Any registered group of 2 or more people based within Blackburn with Darwen can apply for a Corporate Account. We've had groups such as PTAs of local schools, small local businesses, community support groups and community interest companies start accounts with JTCU to help them in managing their finances and funding.
To open a Corporate Account groups will need to nominate a representative and designate how many signatories they would like to be able to access the account. This allows local groups to structure the account to their needs.
